Artem Rossohin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Cosme in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Unica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikita Arhipov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Karim Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Brian Boullet kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Arseniy Kartashevskiy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Sofyane Valognes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Éloi Le Calvez during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artem Rossohin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Karim Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Rathmore Lime Tree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Cosme couldn't finish the play. If Nikita Arhipov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Boullet during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Boullet to maneuver through the defense.

Rathmore Lime Tree's Georges Labarthe was substituted for Paul-Henri Gayraud. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arseniy Kartashevskiy in the 72nd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Boullet kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Boris Kulagin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fernand Rouland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernand Rouland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artem Rossohin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artem Rossohin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adil Magaud in the 84th minute. Fernand Rouland might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artem Rossohin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernand Rouland ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 94 minutes, Nikita Arhipov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikita Arhipov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rathmore Lime Tree supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rathmore Lime Tree would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
