Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Fernand Rouland scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Cross, making the score, 1-0. Sebastian Cross came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud. But to his dismay, Adil Magaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adil Magaud came free, but Sebastian Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Magaud in the 18th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Sebastian Cross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Karim Cosme came free, but Sebastian Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofyane Valognes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from CJ Trusswell went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Chip Preece made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Adil Magaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Cross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Magaud in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barney Bzeu got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 60 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Barney Bzeu. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud got a free kick in the 71st minute. Sebastian Cross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Magaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adil Magaud during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adil Magaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clapham Comets F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
