Narciso Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Oppmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gunther Daun hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Karsten Oppmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16th minute Barnabas Rogge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Barnabas Rogge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 37th minute, Barnabas Rogge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Hadrian Greilinger struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Narciso Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academica Pulheim. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Arnd Freye hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Brasiliense FC's Tadeu Custódio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvo Kobe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brasiliense FC reached it. Kevin Meißel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narciso Abreu. Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnabas Rogge to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Edinho Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasiliense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academica Pulheim the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Edinho Fernandez got a free kick in the 56th minute. Narciso Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Rogge in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Academica Pulheim's Thilo Haupt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Narciso Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karsten Oppmann went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Narciso Abreu was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Gunther Daun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunther Daun really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Narciso Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunther Daun in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Gunther Daun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Abreu. Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunther Daun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 89 minutes into the game, Barnabas Rogge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso Abreu. Barnabas Rogge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Arnd Freye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Narciso Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnabas Rogge, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
