A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, 蜀 Wu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alvo Kobe to make any attempt to save it. When Thomas von Puttkammer came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Academica Pulheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas von Puttkammer couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's zone, Karsten Oppmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 汪迪松 came out of the goal and Karsten Oppmann tried to chip the ball over his head. After 47 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Barnabas Rogge.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas von Puttkammer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 汪迪松 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas von Puttkammer in the 54th minute.
