Nae Bouleanu's late challenge caught a Alvoha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nae Bouleanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alvoha FC booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Alvoha FC's Vladimiro Brun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Bălan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Maule in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Bălan saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. Marian Bălan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Bălan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, Geronimo Maule ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Bălan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Maule in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Bălan saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. Manuel Elorri hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alvoha FC.
