The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Eriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eusebio Gondin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Emesto got free with Yaniusky Mirueña in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Avendaño in the 17th minute of play forced Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Fabio Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Emesto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Fabio Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzi Bonifaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Deportivo Turro got a freekick which was hit by Julian Lauren. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Herminio Velunza made the kick off in the second half.
