Costică Popa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tabby Leceta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Halcon Sport 69's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Călin Boldișor was slow to take the kick. During this time Raureni Academy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Raureni Academy's Călin Boldișor to fire away a dangerous shot which Tabby Leceta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillermo Serrano in the 23rd minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Gică Panaiteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boniel Tama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gică Panaiteanu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boniel Tama got free with Gică Panaiteanu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raureni Academy's Gică Panaiteanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Gillermo Serrano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gică Panaiteanu. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gillermo Serrano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gică Panaiteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boniel Tama in the 32nd minute of play. Raureni Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halcon Sport 69 the free kick. After taking down the ball on Halcon Sport 69's corner Jacobo Pan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gică Panaiteanu quite easily take care of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Gillermo Serrano came free, but Gică Panaiteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
