Joaquin Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Matxin in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Dionisio Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvestre Peter got the opportunity to take care of a free kick, it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball hit the crossbar and flew out of bounds. Eleuterio Arlo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Benigno Rico hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Peter made a kick off. In the 51st minute Silvestre Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportivo Luan Toro's Joaquin Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Matxin in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Lino Gerazan got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 63 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Lino Gerazan. Silvestre Peter struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Joaquin Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquirenda FC. In the 68th minute, Victorio Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Victorio Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquirenda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Eguntsenti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Matxin in the 82nd minute of the match. Piquirenda FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Sportivo Luan Toro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amadeo Matxin took the corner. Piquirenda FC's Amadeo Matxin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Mingo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joaquin Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Peter in the 85th minute of play. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Justino Ixaka with Niceto Flor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
