Amadeo Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Schild didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Peter to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Borgman to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Silvestre Peter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerrit Kemper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 58th match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Broers to maneuver through the defense. Piquirenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Decathlon Dudes the free kick. Silvestre Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Amadeo Matxin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Freddy Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Deinse in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute Delmiro Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Kemper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
