An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Möhn in the 8th minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Pierre Möhn notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado. Adolfo Fernado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Fernado was a little too slow when Kees Plappert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th minute Ernst Schnur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Möhn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florian Guderian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Guifre's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Amelie FC's Luisito Txema got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Fernado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kees Plappert. If Germain Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germain Cabezon in the 44th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Florian Guderian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Guifre to make the kick off. Hugo Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Adolfo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Plappert in the 52nd minute of the match. Santos Checa charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Checa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Amelie FC's Santos Checa got a free kick in the 58th minute. Nat Schmitt, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61st minute, Hugo Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Florian Guderian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ernst Schnur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernst Schnur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Fernado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sydney FC's Adnan Tilner got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Pablo Oinatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Garin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Florian Guderian made a huge save. Florian Guderian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germain Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Amelie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. If Kees Plappert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Victor Guifre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernst Schnur in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Fernado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
