The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvestre Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Paranaense having to interfere. Jonatan Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Jonatan Inge got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Frederico Godoi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Monico Montoya. Geovanni Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mero in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Villaverde Celeste Clube's Giuliano David slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Monico Montoya. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Monico Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Berger in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Wilton Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monico Montoya. Big Babousa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilton Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuliano David got free with Monico Montoya in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Garcia during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vitinho Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Big Babousa's Luciano Iyan was substituted for Emanuel Mero. In the 48th minute, Vitinho Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Luciano Iyan made the kick off in the second half. Big Babousa's Monico Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Berger in the 52nd minute of play. Santiago Cabezudo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when Big Babousa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Rotang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Haritz came free, but Geovanni Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Big Babousa were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Villaverde Celeste Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Bazil took the corner. The corner led Big Babousa's Gustavo Haritz to fire away a dangerous shot which Geovanni Paranaense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Waldemar Lucas got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bernabe Bazil, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 73rd minute, Gustavo Haritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Giuliano David sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monico Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monico Montoya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuliano David went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Big Babousa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
