After 14 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Montrel. In the 15th match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Arlo to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Mingo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Flor's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Amadeo Matxin made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Silvestre Peter immediately put the ball in play. Sportivo Luan Toro's Erubiel Laurin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nunez Playo, made in the 27th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Robustiano Aznaro got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Sportivo Luan Toro getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Domingo Valiente hit a great ball. Joaquin Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Flor in the 33rd minute of play. Walter Fernández made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Piquirenda FC's Nunez Playo.

The wind increased when Lino Gerazan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lino Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Ringo Bonavena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ringo Bonavena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Peter in the 61st minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Prudencio Polentzi replaced Dionisio Diaz. In the 67th minute, Albino Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Ringo Bonavena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
