C.'s Yan Penha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilton Fontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SORRISO E. C. reached it.

Jereba 4EVER's Wilton Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Jereba 4EVER from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Alberto Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Wilton Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Jereba 4EVER's Joel Machado got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Jereba 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Jereba 4EVER's Wilton Fontes got control of the ball when Alberto Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line.
