Candido Kaxen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Haroldo Cresencio made a huge save. Nereo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Benvide in the 13th minute of the match. Victorio Olentzaro's late challenge caught a Shuspendemo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Olentzaro helped the player get up and apologised. Victorio Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Shuspendemo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Benvide to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, Despidida AFC's Gilberto Bitxintxo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haroldo Cresencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Despidida AFC reached it. After 20 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gar. In the 22nd minute, Juan Foyth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Ceandro. Haroldo Cresencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Hotz in the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Benvide during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gaudencio Benvide hit a great ball. Nereo Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Manuel in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Shuspendemo's Nacho Manuel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Nevada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Guido Carrillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Nevada. Despidida AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Carrillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Guido Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shuspendemo's Eloy Chesus was substituted for Honorato Quentin. Nacho Manuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Nevada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nacho Manuel ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Guido Carrillo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Eleuterio Tab hit a great ball. Shuspendemo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan Foyth in the 69th minute. Juan Foyth made a great header on Shuspendemo's corner, it was just that Despidida AFC's Nereo Nevada managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute Gaudencio Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nereo Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Nevada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacho Manuel in the 75th minute. Gaudencio Benvide's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Nereo Nevada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Candido Kaxen got a free kick in the 79th minute. Shuspendemo's Juan Foyth couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Despidida AFC. After 83 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Bitxintxo. In the 87th minute, Shuspendemo's Nacho Manuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nereo Nevada. Nereo Nevada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Nereo Nevada came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Guido Carrillo. But to his dismay, Guido Carrillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
