After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Eleuterio Tab got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Elpidio Quilino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 17th minute Elpidio Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jonatan Gimenez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Quilino in the 25th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Nereo Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Hotz in the 35th minute of play forced Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ulises Hotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Niguel was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ulises Hotz made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Niguel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Hotz. Gonzalo Niguel came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Ulises Hotz. But to his dismay, Ulises Hotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gilberto Bitxintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gonzalo Niguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Niguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Atletico Saladillo FC's Gonzalo Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Hotz in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Narciso Corderro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Atletico Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Despidida AFC's Candido Kaxen tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gilberto Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Hotz came free, but Gonzalo Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atletico Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Arturo Urtsin hit a great ball. A hard shot by Eleuterio Tab from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Gonzalo Niguel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Despidida AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
