Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Gar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Eleuterio Tab got a free kick in the 37th minute. Hamílton Moraes took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Nevada. Nereo Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zézinho Amaral during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Gar made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Souza to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel - FDFDF's zone, Candido Kaxen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Hotz during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Hotz. Nereo Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juvenal Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Carrapichel - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Loureiro couldn't finish the play. Nereo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Moraes in the 81st minute of the match. Gaston Gar took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Botelho. Doni Botelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Gilberto Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ulises Hotz was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
