The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Forever Tango's Cesar Hondo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesar Hondo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Forever Tango protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesar Hondo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Forever Tango's Feliciano Fraco got a free kick in the 8th minute. Aristides Poncio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pierre-Henri Gaillot. When Elvio Pelagius fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forever Tango's protests and gave Elvio Pelagius a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Forever Tango's Elvio Pelagius got a free kick in the 9th minute. Aristides Poncio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pierre-Henri Gaillot. Dilan Mazoyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Osoro in the 15th minute of play. Aristides Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Le Tiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Osoro in the 28th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Dilan Mazoyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Joris Le Tiec dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 38th minute Joris Le Tiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joris Le Tiec who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Aristides Poncio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Urritz in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dilan Mazoyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niceto Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilan Mazoyer having to interfere. Aristides Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris Le Tiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Forever Tango getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eleuterio Cordeara hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Nahia in the 69th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Dilan Mazoyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Generoso Osoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Valérien Vaury shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Poncio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Pionniers de Touraine reached it. Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Generoso Osoro 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Dilan Mazoyer made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Jimeno Nahia sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Les Pionniers de Touraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Lyonnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dilan Mazoyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Nahia in the 88th minute of play. Dilan Mazoyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Nahia in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Jimeno Nahia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aristides Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathys Armbruster, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Les Pionniers de Touraine supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Forever Tango's performance. The match ended with a win for Forever Tango.
