Severino Gaskon started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Celestiales booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Abelardo Bartoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ubaldo Quilino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Severino Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Uxio came free, but Gustavo Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Abadie stood somewhat misplaced when Hilario Uxio came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. In the 40th minute, Saturnino Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestiales's Hilario Uxio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ubaldo Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Gustavo Abadie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severino Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Celestiales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Henry to maneuver through the defense. When Saturnino Lia came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the GERLIROJO Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Lia couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, GERLIROJO Ψ's Benito Gonsalve dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. When Ciro Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GERLIROJO Ψ's protests and gave Ciro Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. Celestiales's Ubaldo Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Lia in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
