But to his dismay, Tonete Lagunas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fetiyerd's Beltza Vives proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Fetiyerd from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Filomeno Orlondon got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Fetiyerd's Dagoberto De Pedro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Beltza Vives showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Uxio in the 28th minute of play forced Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Beltza Vives to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto De Pedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Quilino having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, José Reina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ubaldo Quilino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Celestiales players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fetiyerd were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dagoberto De Pedro made a kick off. Xanti Palacios hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Severino Gaskon hit a great ball. Tonete Lagunas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Fetiyerd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sergio Henry's late challenge caught a Fetiyerd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Tonete Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Fetiyerd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonete Lagunas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Rigoberto Cristofor got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Celestiales booed when Fetiyerd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Reina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Celestiales's Ubaldo Quilino got control of the ball when Dagoberto De Pedro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
