Freddy Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Jozef Miklošovič threw the ball into play from the sideline. RB Chubut's Christian Gonzales quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 7th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Daniel Gešík cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dalmacio Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Héctor Bracamonte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Adamek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Konkoly in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Gabriel Cucák mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC XY and the RB Chubut players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC XY's Gabriel Cucák got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Freddy Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Gešík to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Gešík in the 37th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Dalmacio Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Héctor Bracamonte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Adamek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half FC XY were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Hanigovský made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC XY's zone, Freddy Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Adamek came out of the goal and Freddy Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Héctor Bracamonte made a precise shot to the right of Peter Adamek. FC XY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 63 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Jose Isaio. Jozef Miklošovič missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Dalmacio Olivar right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Gešík in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Olivar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Leocadio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Leocadio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Gešík in the 78th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Dalmacio Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RB Chubut's Edgardo Leocadio got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Edgardo Leocadio off the ground. After 79 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Leocadio. In the 80th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor Bracamonte to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Daniel Gešík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Gešík in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, FC XY's Daniel Gešík dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pavol Wagner hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded FC XY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RB Chubut.
