Avraam Maggioros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Barral in the 3rd minute of play. Luiz Fernando Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fernando Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Pedro Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ntinos Tzikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Joinville United - FSCMZ's João Pedro Rodrigues got control of the ball when Manolis Nikologiannis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes, Reinaldo Barral made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pagos FC's Avraam Maggioros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Munhoz came free, but Avraam Maggioros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Reinaldo Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avraam Maggioros. Pagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Serafim Paraíba hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Avraam Maggioros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Barral in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pagos FC defense, Reinaldo Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avraam Maggioros. The Pagos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avraam Maggioros should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theofilos Stamatis to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Luiz Fernando Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Maggioros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amaral scored 1-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avraam Maggioros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Kostas Karalexopoulos hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Munhoz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Avraam Maggioros, 1-5. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Wilson Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Avraam Maggioros to make any attempt to save it. After 75th play minutes Afonsinho Munhoz shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Avraam Maggioros and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 78th minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Afonsinho Munhoz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Theofilos Stamatis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro Rodrigues having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofilos Stamatis in the 93rd minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Pedro Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
