After 17 minutes, Luiz Fernando Botelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville United - FSCMZ and the Zero Gravity players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, Zero Gravity's Jullian Van Castel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zero Gravity's Benoit Van Heurick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Zero Gravity from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jullian Van Castel came free, but Cauan Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Moreira. Cauan Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrez Dams in the 30th minute of play. Reinaldo Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Benoit Van Heurick made a huge save. In the 37th match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jullian Van Castel in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Wilson Amaral got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jullian Van Castel scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Thibaud Van Lancker hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Gugu Ortiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benoit Van Heurick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Joinville United - FSCMZ's Afonsinho Munhoz in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zero Gravity's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian Van Castel in the 70th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cauan Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remie Dirckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cauan Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Afonsinho Munhoz put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Benoit Van Heurick.
