Gilbert Czech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wawa Doro's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Wawa Doro took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Czech. Gilbert Czech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 20th minute, Toader Balțoi had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Borys Chodzinski fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Powstańcy's protests and gave Borys Chodzinski a yellow card for diving instead. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti made a substitution. Petru Marioteanu replaced Toader Balțoi. A collision led to KS Powstańcy getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Borys Chodzinski hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Wawa Doro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gilbert Czech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of KS Powstańcy booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Pârlog didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Fikus was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Stejaru to maneuver through the defense. After 53 minutes, Viorel Pârlog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti and the KS Powstańcy players grew even worse after the yellow card. 54 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Fikus came free, but Alex Ţirpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, KS Powstańcy's Gilbert Czech got control of the ball when Lucian Baran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Pârlog received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilbert Czech came out and tried to block the shot, but Viorel Pârlog slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 66th minute. The supporters of KS Powstańcy booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Mereacre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, KS Powstańcy's Gilbert Czech got control of the ball when Viorel Pârlog tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucian Baran scored 1-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Czech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viorel Pârlog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Czech having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Wawa Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wawa Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Leszek Januszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Wawa Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawa Doro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Czech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, KS Powstańcy's goal looked a bit too open when Wawa Doro came free, but Gilbert Czech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Wawa Doro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Powstańcy's Gilbert Czech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Gilbert Czech managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wawa Doro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's zone, Marek Fikus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Ţirpe came out of the goal and Marek Fikus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, KS Powstańcy's Borys Chodzinski got a free kick in the 95th minute. The long shot by Petru Marioteanu in the 96th minute really tested Gilbert Czech's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
