After 22 minutes, Ioan Mereacre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti and the Taltum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Mereacre to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wawa Doro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Wawa Doro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valencia Cifuentes. Taltum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wawa Doro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Wawa Doro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valencia Cifuentes. That made the score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. Wawa Doro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valencia Cifuentes came out and tried to block the shot, but Wawa Doro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Fabian Drâmbă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Mellington Aniego shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yoyo Doro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
