The supporters of Cheetah Team booed when Fizimar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Behzat Akbudun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Karl-Åke Drake from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Tahir Yuvakuran's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamuran Bağdaş in the 6th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Bengt Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Cheetah Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Bäckström to maneuver through the defense. Tahir Yuvakuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Lundström in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Fizimar booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ulu Cinel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fizimar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheetah Team the free kick. Ulu Cinel hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tahir Yuvakuran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Skräddare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamuran Bağdaş took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Ånger. Bengt Ånger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Behzat Akbudun came free, but Bengt Ånger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Lundström's late challenge caught a Fizimar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Lundström helped the player get up and apologised. If Ali Behzat Akbudun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arne Bäckström fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheetah Team's protests and gave Arne Bäckström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Arne Bäckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tahir Yuvakuran made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dan Lundström sent off a good shot on target. Ulu Cinel hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Behzat Akbudun made a kick off. The supporters of Cheetah Team booed when Fizimar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Behzat Akbudun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Ali Behzat Akbudun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Fizimar's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Jakobsson came free, but Tahir Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheetah Team's Bengt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Behzat Akbudun in the 83rd minute of play. Aytek Pınarbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bengt Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
