Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Rutten in the 3rd minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when László Medgyesi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wannes Feys hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi got control of the ball when Anton Reniers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Ferenc Boros got a free kick in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's Maxim Rutten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sándor Jászberényi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th play minute Maxim Rutten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sándor Jászberényi. 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Reniers came free, but Sándor Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephen Smits came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sándor Jászberényi could save by the left post. Philipp De Messemaecker came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's János Döbrögi. But to his dismay, János Döbrögi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. János Döbrögi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp De Messemaecker having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Ingelborchs to maneuver through the defense. Balázs Jánosi lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 48th minute, Balázs Jánosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's Anton Reniers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sándor Jászberényi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Gyál United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Rutten was the one to do the kick off. Michel Ingelborchs hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Diedrik Kint kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gyál United's Tibor Kerekes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Het Koffiehuis. Imre Matolcsy struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Philipp De Messemaecker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gyál United. Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Reniers in the 63rd minute of play. László Medgyesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tibor Kerekes hit a great ball. Gyál United's László Medgyesi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Imre Matolcsy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Het Koffiehuis's Philipp De Messemaecker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Het Koffiehuis's Philipp De Messemaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ottó Gyarmati in the 80th minute of play. Imre Matolcsy struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Philipp De Messemaecker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gyál United. Sándor Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Rutten in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Smits in the 85th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Sándor Jászberényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's János Döbrögi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Gyál United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
