The referee showed Tibor Kerékgyártó the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Kerékgyártó. Ottó Gyarmati hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gyál United's János Döbrögi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Justo Bitxintxo, made in the 8th minute of the game. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Balázs Jánosi hit a great ball. László Medgyesi struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Enzo Avellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gyál United. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Bernie Romeo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Boedo Crows's Enzo Avellaneda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Boedo Crows from getting a goal against them. Ottó Gyarmati kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Rocendo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sándor Jászberényi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Imre Matolcsy got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, László Medgyesi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gyál United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boedo Crows the free kick. László Medgyesi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Bernie Romeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tibor Kerékgyártó got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Boedo Crows booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Kerékgyártó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sándor Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Milio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sándor Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Rocendo in the 44th minute of play. László Medgyesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Distiratsu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Distiratsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when László Medgyesi made the kick off in the second half. Sándor Jászberényi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 56th minute, Boedo Crows's Horacio Rameriz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sándor Jászberényi. Sándor Jászberényi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Sándor Jászberényi made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bernie Romeo sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Ottó Gyarmati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi got control of the ball when Bernie Romeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gyál United's zone, Bernie Romeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sándor Jászberényi came out of the goal and Bernie Romeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sándor Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bernie Romeo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Sándor Jászberényi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Rocendo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 89 minutes into the match, Bernie Romeo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sándor Jászberényi, 0-5. Ramon Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Jászberényi having to interfere.
