But to his dismay, Calistrat Vulcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ciprian Chitimia hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Calistrat Vulcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Huns fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Huns were furious when Ionică Omescu was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Huns fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Rafael Van den Gans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Het Koffiehuis got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Smits. 27 minutes into the game, Iustin Perșa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Philipp De Messemaecker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, The Huns's Petru Burdulea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philipp De Messemaecker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philipp De Messemaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Perșa in the 33rd minute of the match. Pompiliu Şteţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Reniers in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Iustin Perșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp De Messemaecker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Het Koffiehuis booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Ştefănică didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rajmond Vissenaekens made a kick off. In the 57th minute, The Huns's Iustin Perșa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Philipp De Messemaecker. Philipp De Messemaecker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After 60 played minutes Het Koffiehuis got a freekick which was hit by Octave Van Hoeij. When Petru Burdulea came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the The Huns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Burdulea couldn't finish the play. Pompiliu Şteţ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajmond Vissenaekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Calistrat Vulcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, The Huns's Iustin Perșa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philipp De Messemaecker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Iustin Perșa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp De Messemaecker having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Iustin Perșa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Huns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Perșa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Het Koffiehuis's zone, Iustin Perșa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philipp De Messemaecker came out of the goal and Iustin Perșa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Philipp De Messemaecker managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when The Huns's Iustin Perșa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcel Moromete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iustin Perșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Moromete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp De Messemaecker having to interfere. The Huns's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
