In the 9th minute, Zé Paulo Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Spets. Öllsjö FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Öllsjö FC booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Sven-Arne Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öllsjö FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Arne Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamílton Simão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sverker Spets having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sixten Säv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öllsjö FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Säv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Öllsjö FC's Frank Harman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Öllsjö FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Esteves came free, but Sverker Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Knut Uggstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Spets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Dracena in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Egídio Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sverker Spets was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sverker Spets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Näver to strike the kick off in the second half. Futbol Club RRFV's Osvaldinho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Näver in the 51st minute of play. Osvaldinho Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sverker Spets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Futbol Club RRFV's Sílvio Luiz Moraes in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sverker Spets firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tomé Martins lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. Tomé Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Patric Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Futbol Club RRFV's Osvaldinho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Näver in the 90th minute of play. The Futbol Club RRFV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futbol Club RRFV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
