With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Zé Rocha got control of the ball when Ferdinand Pociu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zé Paulo Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionuț Moșneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ferdinand Pociu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futbol Club RRFV's Zé Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natã Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ionuț Moșneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Esteves in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Gavra didn't get a good kick on the ball. RED BLUE STAR's Ionuț Moșneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Esteves in the 31st minute of play. Ionuț Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Brito in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Arapașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Esteves in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionuț Moșneanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RED BLUE STAR's Ionuț Moșneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Esteves in the 44th minute of play. Ferdinand Pociu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Zé Rocha made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Panaitoiu got free with Zé Rocha in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Panaitoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ionuț Moșneanu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when César Brito sent off a good shot on target. Octav Ciocan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo Esteves had several of the RED BLUE STAR's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Ionuț Moșneanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ionuț Moșneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Esteves in the 61st minute of the match. Victor Răcănel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ionuț Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Dracena in the 64th minute of play. César Brito struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ionuț Moșneanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Club RRFV. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Basarab Gavra hit a great ball. Zé Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Panaitoiu's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Zé Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Panaitoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in RED BLUE STAR's zone, Zé Paulo Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Moșneanu came out of the goal and Zé Paulo Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Futbol Club RRFV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
