Cavaliers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★Independiente Ψ★ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Leopoldo Benvido got a free kick in the 6th minute. Honorato Taurino hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cavaliers FC's Nestor Bastian was substituted for Jonathan Piearres. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Daniel Cordeara got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Jeronimo Beti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavaliers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Beti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Caton came free, but Anacleto Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Maule hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Nestor Cordarrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anacleto Madaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Jeronimo Beti got a free kick in the 28th minute. 38 minutes into the game, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Nestor Cordarrel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anacleto Madaleno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Anacleto Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Anacleto Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half ★Independiente Ψ★ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Bieito to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jonatan Gregory got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Cavaliers FC's Antonio Baristo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Antonio Baristo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cavaliers FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Antonio Baristo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cavaliers FC! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for ★Independiente Ψ★. Ildefonso Barea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anacleto Madaleno. 0-3. After 66 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Barea. In the 68th minute, Maximino Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anacleto Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Cavaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Bitxintxo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Cordarrel in the 77th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ★Independiente Ψ★ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ildefonso Barea hit a great ball. Pedro Bieito was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Cavaliers FC defense, Nestor Cordarrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Madaleno. The Cavaliers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Madaleno should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Nestor Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anacleto Madaleno was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Cavaliers FC's Anacleto Madaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Cavaliers FC from getting a goal against them. The Cavaliers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ★Independiente Ψ★ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
