Rui Azenha came out of the goal and Fabrício Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Filipe Macena got a free kick in the 10th minute. Rui Azenha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Rui Azenha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Macena came free, but Dimas Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimas Camargo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fabrício Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Santiago Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Proud FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimas Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, MEXACOMX's Rui Azenha threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mariano Faria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Pais in the 94th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Dimas Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
