Viriato Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubim Torcato to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Lithuanian amber's protests and gave Marius Naujokas a yellow card for diving instead. FC Dezassete made a substitution. Lúcio Menezes replaced Hildeberto Peixoto. After 79 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Marius Naujokas. Viriato Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 84th minute. Pedro Vilalobos struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ąžuolas Laucius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dezassete. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nélson Henriques during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
