After 3 played minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leroy Broadhurst. Eligijus Erniulis charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eligijus Erniulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Eligijus Erniulis. In the 11th minute, Kipras Gelžinis made a precise shot to the right of Andrew Coyle. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute Kęstutis Jakubauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Coyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ąžuolas Laucius made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rex Morley sent off a good shot on target. Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Laucius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Lithuanian amber from getting a goal against them. When Aras Nutautas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andrew Coyle was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Andrew Coyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kęstutis Jakubauskas came free, but Andrew Coyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Steven Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ąžuolas Laucius came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Rex Morley. But to his dismay, Rex Morley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Kęstutis Jakubauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 46th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrew Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Ken Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rex Morley to strike the kick off in the second half. When Daugirdas Čižiūnas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lithuanian amber's protests and gave Daugirdas Čižiūnas a yellow card for diving instead. Ąžuolas Laucius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Morley in the 70th minute of play. Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Laucius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Broadhurst in the 71st minute of play. Kęstutis Jakubauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrew Coyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kęstutis Jakubauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Billy Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ąžuolas Laucius having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigijus Damijonas during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Lithuanian amber:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lisburn Distillery F.C.:s goal. The referee gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jack Dyson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Laucius. 3-1. If Kęstutis Jakubauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
