If Brad Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match Elderslie Magpies got a corner. Zlatan BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ed Howard ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Rod Stephens managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ed Howard kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Molander in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corder Clubley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Molander in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Zlatan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Fors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludvig Wik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Corder Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Wik came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Byron Osbiston fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elderslie Magpies's protests and gave Byron Osbiston a yellow card for diving instead. Rudolf Ekeroth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corder Clubley having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludvig Wik was the one to do the kick off. Ludvig Wik might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corder Clubley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludvig Wik ran back to his position shaking his head. After 53 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Byron Osbiston. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Rudolf Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Clubley came out of the goal and Rudolf Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Molander scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corder Clubley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Molander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corder Clubley. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game David Fogel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 minutes, David Fogel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zlatan BK and the Elderslie Magpies players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Zlatan BK got a freekick which was hit by David Fogel. The crowd rose to their feet as Zlatan BK's Rudolf Ekeroth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corder Clubley. That made the score 1-3 after 74 minutes of play. Ludvig Wik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Corder Clubley made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Börge Botvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Brock Devine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Elderslie Magpies's Martin Bailey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Martin Bailey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elderslie Magpies protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Martin Bailey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 86 minutes into the game, one of Elderslie Magpies:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elderslie Magpies:s Corder Clubley showed great skill when he stopped Ludvig Wik:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludvig Wik got free with Corder Clubley in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mack Barker hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Zlatan BK's Oliver Molander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Zlatan BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
