The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Radowit Dziechciowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 12 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Jhon Barcellos came free, but Stefan Bochinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Dziechciowski came free, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Andrysiak. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Dziechciowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Palestra do Interior's Jhon Barcellos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Bochinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 30th minute, Serafim Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 33rd minute Serafim Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Bochinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Wrocanka defense, Jhon Barcellos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Bochinski. The FC Wrocanka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Bochinski should have stopped the shot. Stefan Bochinski came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Dorival Almeida. But to his dismay, Dorival Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half Palestra do Interior were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafim Simão made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Serafim Simão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Bochinski. Serafim Simão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 60 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Simão came free, but Stefan Bochinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Simão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Stefan Bochinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th minute Ulryk Hatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Bochinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandy Ogrocki in the 78th minute of the match. FC Wrocanka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Serafim Simão scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Bochinski, making the score, 0-6. Serafim Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Stefan Bochinski made a huge save.
