That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Feliks Owsiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Fontes. Beniamin Sedzikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Nightmare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Magdziarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ulysses Neto fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Ulysses Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Ulysses Neto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Nightmare's Jedrzej Olchawa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. Nightmare's Beniamin Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhon Barcellos in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Antônio Carlos Cavalcante acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jedrzej Olchawa. After 61 minutes of play, Palestra do Interior's William Luz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beniamin Sedzikowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beniamin Sedzikowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Simão's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes, Serafim Simão made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nightmare's Beniamin Sedzikowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Nightmare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Owsiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Werra to maneuver through the defense. Beniamin Sedzikowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorival Almeida went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Beniamin Sedzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhon Barcellos in the 87th minute of play. Palestra do Interior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jhon Barcellos in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Serafim Simão made a precise shot to the right of Beniamin Sedzikowski. Nightmare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Palestra do Interior players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
