Alfred Fleszar's late challenge caught a Palestra do Interior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Fleszar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, FC Wrocanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Fleszar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Wrocanka getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. In the 11th minute, FC Wrocanka's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Serafim Simão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stefan Bochinski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from William Luz. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Dorival Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Bochinski. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Ulryk Hatman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Serafim Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, FC Wrocanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Dzerwucki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Hatman in the 28th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Simão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stefan Bochinski came out and tried to block the shot, but Serafim Simão slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. In the 45th minute, Serafim Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Palestra do Interior's Ulysses Neto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ulysses Neto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palestra do Interior protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ulysses Neto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th minute, Ulysses Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Ulryk Hatman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafim Simão made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Jhon Barcellos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wrocanka's Stefan Bochinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafim Simão scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Bochinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Jhon Barcellos put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stefan Bochinski. Stefan Bochinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhon Barcellos in the 64th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Bochinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafim Simão went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Wrocanka booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes, Radowit Dziechciowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wrocanka and the Palestra do Interior players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Wrocanka getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Radowit Dziechciowski hit a great ball. Serafim Simão scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Bochinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Quintal. Bernard Gerlach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorival Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. FC Wrocanka's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
