The referee showed Marian Brăiloiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eoghan Barrett scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Strugure, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Patrick McPhil came free, but Ivan Strugure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Strugure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmons McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The 1948 MKS fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when 1948 MKS's Eoghan Barrett looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute, Patrick McPhil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1948 MKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Patrick McPhil hit a great ball. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick McPhil in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Vama Veche ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Mohora to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barhan Barrett in the 25th minute of play. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick McPhil in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Vama Veche ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Cotuțiu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eoghan Barrett in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Strugure saved Vama Veche ™ from getting behind. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eoghan Barrett in the 31st minute of play. Eoghan Barrett scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Strugure, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Strugure stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick McPhil's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Marian Brăiloiu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, 1948 MKS's Barhan Barrett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Strugure came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1948 MKS reached it. A collision led to Vama Veche ™ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dinu Cotuțiu hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Eoghan Barrett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Strugure. Vama Veche ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eoghan Barrett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Urderean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eoghan Barrett did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Ivan Strugure 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Vama Veche ™ got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Negrescu. 60 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Patrick McPhil came free, but Ivan Strugure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Patrick McPhil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Strugure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eoghan Barrett in the 64th minute of play. Ivan Strugure was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Patrick McPhil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrick McPhil really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 75 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Eoghan Barrett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Strugure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Robert McCready took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Strugure. Ivan Strugure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. When Geary Delaney fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1948 MKS's protests and gave Geary Delaney a yellow card for diving instead. Geary Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Healey Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Urderean in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Eoghan Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Strugure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1948 MKS's attack was well implemented in the 91st minute, but when Bowie Scully was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Vama Veche ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Mohora didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Barhan Barrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded 1948 MKS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vama Veche ™.
