The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uxio Millán during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Uxio Millán. Silverio Nadal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Healey Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iñaki Valines came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Eoghan Barrett. But to his dismay, Eoghan Barrett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Bowie Scully nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iñaki Valines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Uxio Millán managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los once leones Ourense's supporters rose to their feet, but Uxio Millán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Healey Harkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick McPhil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uxio Millán in the 42nd minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Healey Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Silverio Nadal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Uxio Millán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los once leones Ourense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uxio Millán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Healey Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Ruiz in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Silverio Nadal made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Geary Delaney. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseba Litago in the 52nd minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Healey Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Mera hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick McPhil came free, but Iñaki Valines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eoghan Barretts short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Iñaki Valines to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Los once leones Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uxio Millán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barhan Barrett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iñaki Valines. Los once leones Ourense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Ruiz in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Healey Harkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Healey Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uxio Millán in the 82nd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Eoghan Barrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Galeno Alonso fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los once leones Ourense's protests and gave Galeno Alonso a yellow card for diving instead. Galeno Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 1948 MKS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
