Geovanni Pinho made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Angel Medero sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, C.A.JORGOVAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Fortun to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Aaron Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.JORGOVAN's zone, Thomás Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Calixto came out of the goal and Thomás Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovanni Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Fortun in the 38th minute of play. Maximo Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério de Mendonça in the 41st minute of the match. Silvério de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Maximo Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Lopes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Maximo Calixto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macaco F.C.. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With his leg Maximo Calixto managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Macaco F.C.'s Silvério de Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute, Cristóvão Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Tadeo Paio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovanni Pinho skillfully saved the ball. Angel Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Pinho having to interfere. If Silvério de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.JORGOVAN's Christian Martxot was substituted for Anselmo Fortun. Christian Martxot scored 1-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanni Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Macaco F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
