After a defensive mix-up in Macaco F.C.'s zone, Hasan Ali Oksay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Pinho came out of the goal and Hasan Ali Oksay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamim Trancoso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Macaco F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MARAZZINO:s goal. The referee gave MARAZZINO a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdurrezzak Çetintürk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macaco F.C.'s Geovanni Pinho. 0-1. Armando Sampaio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Geovanni Pinho came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by MARAZZINO's Hasan Ali Oksay. But to his dismay, Hasan Ali Oksay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Raşit Kutsalmis fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARAZZINO's protests and gave Raşit Kutsalmis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MARAZZINO getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Raşit Kutsalmis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MARAZZINO's Affan Bedih got a free kick in the 18th minute. Fábio Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Gökçek having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Gökçek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Sampaio in the 24th minute. Yusuf Ziya Gökçek made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fábio Dracena sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Lopes came free, but Yusuf Ziya Gökçek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yusuf Ziya Gökçek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Armando Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yusuf Ziya Gökçek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MARAZZINO getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Affan Bedih hit a great ball. Raşit Kutsalmis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Armando Sampaio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Yusuf Ziya Gökçek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Felipe Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yusuf Ziya Gökçek. Felipe Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Armando Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Lopes in the 52nd minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Gökçek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Armando Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Ziya Gökçek was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Yavuz Bülent Akhan's late challenge caught a Macaco F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavuz Bülent Akhan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MARAZZINO's Yavuz Bülent Akhan got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the MARAZZINO defense, Felipe Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yusuf Ziya Gökçek. The MARAZZINO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yusuf Ziya Gökçek should have stopped the shot. In the 66th match minute, MARAZZINO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muzaffer Kongar to maneuver through the defense. Yusuf Ziya Gökçek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Yavuz Bülent Akhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yusuf Ziya Gökçek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yusuf Ziya Gökçek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Abdurrezzak Çetintürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARAZZINO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macaco F.C. the free kick. After 87 played minutes MARAZZINO got a freekick which was hit by Abdurrezzak Çetintürk. After 95 played minutes MARAZZINO got a freekick which was hit by Zülfü Ağaverdi. Cristóvão Leme didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
