After 36 played minutes, Cremonese's Victor Eguen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Winkler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cremonese reached it. After 41 played minutes Cremonese got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Domeka. Horacio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Travis in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyce Funk to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Niva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Winkler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Isidoro Goren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Winkler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Goren to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Goren in the 58th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Rolando Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, DeAngelo Bruner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inmortales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cremonese the free kick. The supporters of Cremonese booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeAngelo Bruner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Winkler having to interfere. German Whatley's late challenge caught a Cremonese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Whatley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. German Whatley hit a great ball. Rolando Winkler came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Cremonese's Isidoro Goren. But to his dismay, Isidoro Goren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Ralondo came free, but Rolando Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Alfonso Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Mike Travis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Travis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Domeka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Winkler was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Cremonese were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Inmortales FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodosio Niva took the corner. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inmortales FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cremonese.
