After 10 minutes, Victor Eguen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cremonese and the Tamboril players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Cremonese:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tamboril:s goal. Horacio Vitin had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Ruy Araújo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 20th minute, Cremonese's Melchor Ondino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Luís Sergipano. Pedro Luís Sergipano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tamboril's zone, Teodosio Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Sergipano came out of the goal and Teodosio Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cremonese's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Carioca came free, but Horacio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sixto Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pedro Luís Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cremonese booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Prudencio Ostargi could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. Tamboril's Pedro Luís Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ostargi in the 39th minute of play. Prudencio Ostargi scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luís Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Carioca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luís Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Ondino in the 53rd minute of the match. Bartolo Gerazan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Luís Sergipano. Tamboril's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Sixto Ralondo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cremonese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Ralondo couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Sergipano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cremonese's Prudencio Ostargi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Prudencio Ostargi put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Luís Sergipano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Ostargi in the 69th minute of play forced Tamboril's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Prudencio Ostargi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cremonese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Pedro Luís Sergipano came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Cremonese's Melchor Ondino. But to his dismay, Melchor Ondino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Ostargi in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Luís Sergipano came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cremonese's Prudencio Ostargi. But to his dismay, Prudencio Ostargi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Ostargi in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elano Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Vitin having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tamboril players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cremonese.
