In the 5th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Travis to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Bengtsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Inmortales FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Harrison in the 10th minute. Edward Harrison made a great header on Inmortales FC's corner, it was just that Di Röe's Henry Forsberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 14th minute, Boyce Funk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Royce Dwyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Isac Norström could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Rolando Winkler however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute Isac Norström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Travis scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Forsberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Di Röe's Henry Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otis Robles in the 31st minute of play. Henry Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Travis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Isac Norström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rolando Winkler made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Di Röe's Marc Eklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Winkler. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Mike Travis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Forsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Cormier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mike Travis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Albert Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Di Röe's protests and gave Albert Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. Henry Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royce Dwyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Royce Dwyer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Henry Forsberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zack Sneed charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zack Sneed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zack Sneed kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Peder Salqvist. In the 73rd minute Albert Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Eklund scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Winkler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Eklund in the 84th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Rolando Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
