Melchor Ondino had several of the Roceira SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Romeu Negri as he didn't even see the shot coming. Roceira SC's Romeu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ostargi in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Cremonese's Melchor Ondino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeu Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafinha Oliveira during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Oliveira. Melchor Ondino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Melchor Ondino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Romeu Negri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romeu Negri made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Melchor Ondino sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Ostargi came free, but Romeu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Prestes made a kick off.
