Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Toninho Arruda made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Magallanes's Alberto Cordeal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeu Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joel Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monumento Sports's Amadeu Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Cordeal in the 11th minute of play. Blas Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Arruda in the 12th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Evelio Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Lopes struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Blas Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monumento Sports. In the 20th minute of the match Evelio Frechoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Koehler skillfully saved the ball. In the 25th minute, Joel Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monumento Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 28 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Mazza. Joel Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute Joel Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Mazza. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Koehler acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Evelio Frechoso. After 45 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Xabier. Club Atlético Magallanes's Blas Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Arruda in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Cordeal made a kick off. If Alberto Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Toninho Arruda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blas Sal. Toninho Arruda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Lopes got free with Blas Sal in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes, Joel Lopes made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Magallanes's Blas Sal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeu Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Frechoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Xabier charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Xabier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Xabier to maneuver through the defense. Blas Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Lopes in the 81st minute of the match. Alberto Cordeal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Monumento Sports players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
