Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Metapalo FC's Rodrigo Dacio got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Olo. When Humberto Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Flamengo CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Dantas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Elizardo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano de Sousa during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Flamengo CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, Flamengo CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Tasso came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Rodrigo Dacio. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Dacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Dantas came free, but Melquiades Silban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Aurelio Elizardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metapalo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Atauri to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Isidoro Garcia hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's Nelsinho Prata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Silban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Elizardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Flamengo CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Metapalo FC's Isidoro Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Germano de Sousa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With 56 minutes on the clock, Luiz Nóbrega commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 57 played minutes Flamengo CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Nóbrega. Tarcisio Tasso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isidoro Garcia. In the 59th minute, Flamengo CIMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodrigo Dacio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Tarcisio Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Dacio. After 62 played minutes Flamengo CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Arruda. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Tasso having to interfere. Isidoro Garcia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Atauri charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Atauri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Flamengo CIMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Metapalo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Metapalo FC.
