George Hollingworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Nilson Pfingst from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Blas Sal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 13th minute, Augusto Xabier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Blas Sal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordon Czaczka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Xabier in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregory Shearn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blas Sal made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jordon Czaczka sent off a good shot on target. Boroondara Milan's Gregory Shearn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Frechoso in the 26th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Evelio Frechoso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Boroondara Milan's Gregory Shearn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When George Hollingworth came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Boroondara Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Hollingworth couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Rudy Petty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, George Hollingworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, one of Boroondara Milan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boroondara Milan.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordon Czaczka to make the kick off. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Drake Boneheyo hit a great ball. If Drake Boneheyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drake Boneheyo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Blas Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murphey Muggleton in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Gregory Shearn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jordon Czaczka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Blas Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Jordon Czaczka came free, but Blas Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Gregory Shearn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Boroondara Milan from getting a goal against them.
