Florentino Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Joel Nuxila made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Orzaize. Cachiyuyo EAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rodrigo Dacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Joel Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metapalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anastasio Hotz fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Anastasio Hotz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Hotz to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Orzaize having to interfere. Aurelio Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joel Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Metapalo FC's Romeo Orzaize threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelio Elizardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Anastasio Hotz got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Aurelio Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Orzaize came out of the goal and Aurelio Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Orzaize having to interfere. When Florentino Enekoitz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Isidoro Garcia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rodrigo Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Romeo Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Nuxila in the 66th minute of the match. Aurelio Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Isidoro Garcia got a free kick in the 69th minute. Rodrigo Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Niceto Erauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metapalo FC the free kick. Metapalo FC made a substitution. Saul Ado replaced Sixto Olo. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Elizardo in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Metapalo FC got a corner. Cachiyuyo EAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidoro Garcia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Metapalo FC's Isidoro Garcia to fire away a dangerous shot which Romeo Orzaize despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Metapalo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
